A serious governor

New Jersey governor Chris Christie has become something of an Internet celebrity thanks to several speeches and town hall meetings captured on YouTube showing him talk about runaway government spending.  In this video -- well over 200,000 hits -- Christie talks about why the teachers union in his state needs to get its wings clipped.

I don't know if Meg Whitman has the ability -- or the guts -- to lead the charge in California like Chris Christie does in New Jersey. But I know this: Jerry Brown isn't serious about runaway government spending.
