Jerry Brown's toxic campaign stop

Is the Jerry Brown campaign being run by amateurs? 

Looking at pics from a Brown appearance on Thursday, it sure looks like it.

A candidate who speaks in front of cameras should always be aware of the visual being projected.  But look at the toxic visual in the photo below.

In the grand scheme of a campaign that lasts many months, this one goof isn't a big deal.  But still.  Somebody needs to pay attention to the details because little mistakes added together over time become a big deal.  And Jerry Brown -- now trailing Whitman by several points in the latest polls -- has very little room for error.
